£1m investment leaves Jet Aire Services on track to secure more rail work

Drainage specialist Jet Aire Services has continued to invest in the latest technology in an attempt to increase the volume of work across the rail sector.

Jet Aire, which operate from a Leeds headquarters with an additional base in Middlesbrough, works predominantly in the north of England but has scope to carry out projects across the UK.

The firm has spent in excess of £1 million over the last year to add to its fleet, and will take delivery of two brand new tankers in early July to add to an already impressive variety of vehicles.

Drainage remediation resources are always being upgraded, and in addition to the two new tankers the company has also invested in Enz Chain Flail which will work on the recycler unit for lines which are 200mm-400mm.

This particular investment will make Jet Aire Services more efficient in tackling some of the tougher encrustations and tree roots that its crews find in trackside sewers.

Jamie Swan, Sales & Marketing Director at Jet Aire Services, said: “We have continued to invest heavily in technology over the last year, despite the disruption caused by the pandemic, and that has resulted in a record year for us.

“The rail sector is a key part of our growth plans UK wide. One of the factors behind the growth we have enjoyed year-on-year has been down to our expertise and operating in diverse and challenging sectors – and the rail sector certainly falls into that category.”

Jet Aire Services prides itself on its no-dig technology, and a recent contract carried out centred around a depot in Norfolk.

The PTS-trained crew undertook the drain and full connectivity survey of the trackside drainage, and completed the job within deadline and without any disruption to services.

Jamie added: “With our growing reputation and professional delivery, we hope to secure more work of this nature in the near future.”
