Lastly Chris Welford, Principal Engineering Leader – Vehicles, Transport For London discusses how TFL has invested in automating task assignment and other practices that have led to a streamlining of maintenance activities. Chris also reflects on the outcomes of these changes and what causes investments in new technology and facilities to be successfully implemented.
