The dark nights have well and truly drawn in, but that may not be such a bad thing…
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) are making the most of the autumnal evenings, with its Light Spectacular Express, a real October half-term treat!
The event features one of the railway’s famous steam engines illuminated with over 17,000 LEDs, which visitors board at Pickering station, before enjoying a non-stop party on the line!
The journey is compered by TV’s famous Peter Dickinson, the voice of X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway, and visitors will enjoy an on-board mix of music and entertainment. Passengers even become part of the show, with every guest given an interactive LED wristband which is synchronised to the music and really gets you in the party mood!
The party train departs from Pickering Station for Levisham Station every evening from 22 to 30 October at 6pm and 7.45pm.
