New appointments strengthen Turner & Townsend’s UK senior team

Turner & Townsend has strengthened its senior team across the UK with a series of new appointments.

James Corrigan will become UK Managing Director, Infrastructure and Simon Arnold is our new UK Managing Director, Real Estate Project Management. Meanwhile, Andy Scott will take up the newly created position of UK Managing Director, Defence, at a time of increased focus and investment on defence and security.

James Corrigan has been at the business since 2005, when he joined as a graduate, and has most recently headed up the programme advisory division in the UK. Under his leadership, the division grew from a team of 40 to 130, focusing on the effective set up of major projects and programmes. His new role sees him take responsibility for all business services across the UK infrastructure market, including a particular focus on driving digitalisation in the infrastructure sector, and delivering on the transformative potential of major projects and programmes across the county.

Simon has worked with the organisation for seven years, leading the project management side of the business across London and the South East, which doubled in size under his tenure. Simon will be succeeding Chris Sargent, who has moved from this role to UK Managing Director, Real Estate.

As the company’s first UK Managing Director, Defence, Andy Scott will be leading the growth of its defence footprint, with a focus on improving productivity and establishing best in class delivery models for the UK’s defence programmes. Having been at the business since 2011, Andy has a strong track record of growth, leading our UK regional business across transportutilities and power.

Patricia Moore, UK Managing Director, said: “This strategic reorganisation of our UK senior leadership is a sign of the exceptional trajectory of growth Turner & Townsend has seen across the UK and reflects our continued investment for the future. These appointments will ensure we have the capabilities in place to deliver for our clients and deliver the projects for the country.”
