Amaro Network Rail principal contractor licence renewed

A leading provider of specialist signalling, LV, HV and OLE support to the rail sector has successfully passed its Network Rail Principal Contractor Licence (PCL) audit.

Amaro Signalling MD Michael Ewart has praised the efforts of staff for their months of hard work in passing the audit.

The licence, obtained after passing a rigorous audit process, recognises Amaro’s appropriate and robust health and safety, quality and environment management systems to effectively carry out work under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

Michael said: “This is the result of months of incredible hard work by a truly dedicated group of people. Among the highlights include zero non-conformance reports, fantastic feedback from the auditor and another three years as a PCL.”

While probably better known for its expertise in signalling, over the years Amaro has also forged an enviable reputation for excellence within LV, HV, OLE, offering the highest of standards of engineering and value.

Michael added: “Over the last ten years, Amaro has gone from strength to strength, delivering projects throughout the rail infrastructure, evolving to become a hugely respected force within the nation’s rail industry.

“The success with the PCL further adds to the bright future ahead for the company, with fantastic opportunities on the horizon and even greater relationships being formed. I am genuinely excited for what the next few years will hold.”
