Leading rail leasing company, Beacon, has announced the appointment of Antonio Alamar as Senior Director, Commercial, who started this week.
Antonio joins the Beacon team working out of Konstanz, Germany. He will support the company’s growth both in Germany and the surrounding markets.
Rob Dee, Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “Toni brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the rolling stock market from his previous roles at train manufacturer, Stadler. We are delighted Toni has chosen to join the Beacon team as we continue to expand our presence across Europe.”
Speaking about his appointment, Antonio said: “With its ambitious plans and recent brand transformation, this is a very exciting time to be joining Beacon. I’m looking forward to helping the company with its future expansion.”
From its offices in Luxembourg and London, Beacon leases nearly 2,000 locomotives, freight wagons and passenger vehicles to train and freight operators across 17 countries, offering the broadest UK and European rolling stock solution.
