More than 400 visitors attended RIN Derby yesterday, with organisers describing it as the “best yet”, as they now look ahead to the next event in York.
Derby Arena played host to 440 visitors, 84 exhibitors and 264 railway infrastructure companies were represented at Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN) on Thursday, September 8.
The RIN events are designed to create a new opportunities for railway infrastructure companies to meet major buyers at a low exhibitor price.
Highlights included the RIA Meet the Buyer event which saw exhibitors given the opportunity to meet for senior buyers and advisors face-to-face in pre-arranged 15-20 minute procurement interviews.
Created by specialist railway insurance broker Jobson James Rail, RIN has already seen lots of businesses registering as an exhibitor for its next event in York on Thursday, November 17.
Director of Jobson James Rail, Keven Parker, said: “Derby once again was a great successful day with exhibitors keen to re-book for York already.
“We created this to give companies of all sizes the opportunity to meet under one roof, to explore opportunities with each other and grow their businesses.
