Campaign for Better Transport urges people to sign up to support initiative

The Campaign for Better Transport is asking people to sign up to its latest initiative if they haven’t already had the opportunity to do so.

Its ‘The Way Forward’ campaign is concerned that people emerging from the worst of the pandemic will return to their cars and drive more and more. Accordingly, this campaign is calling on the UK Government to put public transport at the top of its priorities.

It says that trains, trams, buses and coaches – alongside walking and cycling – provide a green and fair way to connect people whilst looking to a greener future.
