Christmas campaign launched to keep UK children safe

Railway Children has just launched its annual Christmas campaign and this year the international charity is focussing on its work in this country to keep children safe on the rail network. At this time of year the railways and stations are busier than ever – with shoppers and families out and about – but this only makes it even harder to spot vulnerable children who are drawn to these crowded and chaotic places. Working closely with British Transport Police, the charity knows what to look out for and how to help when a young person is in danger.
