Collaboration key for stations to meet the accessibility needs of passengers

RBD Community has hosted its first networking event – bringing together industry specialists to discuss accessibility and stations.

The event in Manchester featured a wide range of industry experts discussing strategy and progress that is being made in making stations accessible for everyone.

Eli Rees-King, Head of RBD Community, said: “Our first networking event has been a huge success with some great speakers on a topic of such importance.

“Access on the railways should be with everyone in mind and the passion from the speakers today shows there is an enthusiasm to improve accessibility on the railways, collaborating to do so.

“I’d like to thank everyone who spoke and attended – I am really looking forward to reveal details of our 2022 event calendar – we have some really interesting events planned which I hope will be equally successful.”
