Diamond Rail Services undertakes Class 350/3 Modification Refresh at Siemens’ Kings Heath Depot in Northampton

Diamond Rail Services, a leading provider of turnkey railway solutions, is underway with the Class 350/3 Modification Refresh at Siemens Kings Heath Depot, Northampton.

Diamond Rail is working in collaboration with Siemens to deliver the refurbishment of 10 x 4 car units for West Midland trains.

The Project, which started in September, and is due for completion in March 2024 is set to enhance the comfort and aesthetics for its passengers.

Diamond Rail is manufacturing and fitting new seat cushions and covers, refurbishing grab handles and laying new carpet which is all wrapped up in a turnkey delivery for the customer.

Sarah Hardy, Project Support Manager at Diamond Rail Services said: “It has been a great start to the project and a pleasure to be working with Siemens once again on the Class 350 Refurb Project. Our shared commitment to excellence and innovation continues to drive our partnership and is a testament to the power of collaboration.”

The focus of this project is to bring these units in line with the 350/1s & 350/4s which Diamond Rail carried out in 2019/ 2020.
