Dyer & Butler Achieves Gold Level Status with Supply Chain Sustainability School

Dyer & Butler, a part of M Group Services, has been awarded Gold level status by the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS).

Gold is the highest level of SCSS membership and the achievement is a signal of Dyer & Butler’s continued commitment to delivering value to its aviation, highways and rail sector clients by driving sustainability across its operations and supply chains.

Partnering with the school has provided Dyer & Butler with access to a wide range of sustainability learning and development resources.

The partnership is proving a huge success and Dyer & Butler people have already recorded over 300 hours of activity on the SCSS resource hub including almost 200 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited resources. SCSS membership also enables businesses to benchmark performance and progress across a range of sustainability disciplines.

Results show that Dyer & Butler is exceeding the sector average in a number of key areas that form part of its own, and its clients’, environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) strategy including; Community, Environmental Management, Biodiversity & Ecology, Energy & Carbon, Fairness, Inclusion & Respect, Training and Skills and Employment.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School commented: “The school is delighted to recognise Dyer & Butler as a Gold Member. They join our most active cohort of members; consistently engaging with the School whilst sharing their knowledge with others and demonstrating an increase in sustainability competence.”

Steve Broom, Safety, Sustainability and Training Director, Dyer & Butler, commented: “Sustainability addresses the social, economic and environmental challenges that we address each day across our operations. We recognise the vital importance of continually challenging ourselves and our supply chain partners to push the boundaries of operating more responsibly and sustainably and we are therefore delighted to have achieved SCSS Gold level status.”
