Expansion for Cable Services Group

Cable Services Group is the UK’s leading Specialist Electrical Distributor, stocking and supplying both cable and cable accessories to the domestic and international markets, sourced from a select number of leading product manufacturers from its UK locations. It has branches located in Glasgow, Liverpool, Wrexham, Stone and Swindon, which helps it service its customers more efficiently.

It operates in several different markets which include: Utilities, Industrial Commercial, Power Generation & Transmission, Rail and the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical market.

In 2020, the group moved into a new purpose built head office and warehouse facility only a few miles away from the old premises giving it far more flexibility in terms of stock holding and therefore enabling it to continue its close relationships with partners, giving the ability to source and deliver products to support customer projects.

Cable Services Group has a full range of products to support the rail market and has been supplying into the sector for many years. Its basket of products includes Cable Joints and terminations, Pin brazing connections, Link Boxes, Splice Shunt, Insulators, Earthing Leads and many more.

It works with a number of global supplies which include TE Connectivity, Henley, Prysmian, Sicame, Lovink, Safetrack and PBwel who it can source products from to enable it to offer a one stop shop solution to the rail market.

Cable Services also has a custom built, state of the art training facility which has been specifically designed to accommodate training installations from low voltage jointing through to 132Kv. The unique 3,000sq ft facility operates in a classroom environment with full audio-visual equipment, a training workshop over two open plan levels; product display and demonstration areas; refreshment facilities and on-site parking. https://www.cabletrainingservices.co.uk/

2020 was a landmark year for the company, as it moved its head office and warehouse in Wrexham to a new purpose-built head office just down the road to the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
