Fibreglass experts Mr Fibreglass has moved into larger premises as part of an expansion – with the railways at the heart of its growth.

The company specialises in bespoke fibreglass patterns, moulds, panels and modifications on existing panels, or existing are available to be consulted on future modifications inside or outside of the train.

The North Kent-based company is owned by Mark Appleford, who has over 35-years’ experience in fibreglass – from pattern through to production.

He said: “We offer various types of resin from general purpose resin, fire retardant resin and even phenolic resin.

“The phenolic resin is our most commonly requested and used and it is highly fireproof, resistant and effective.

“We also offer a variety of finishes from the basic industrial finish to a high gloss finish.”
