Just a week remains to place nominations for The Women in Rail Awards 2021 – which will close on Friday 28 May 2021, so please nominate your inspirational managers, friends, colleagues, peers and employers now!
This year, the Women in Rail Awards will be a very special celebration: which will not only showcase and reward the individuals and companies (large and small) who have made a significant contribution to improving gender balance, equality, diversity and inclusion in the industry in the last twelve months, but will also shine a very special and bright light on the railway heroes, those individuals who have gone the extra mile to support our passengers, their colleagues, communities and families throughout the pandemic.
The event will take place at the Roundhouse, Camden; the keynote speaker will be Bernadette Kelly, Permanent Secretary at the Department for Transport.
The celebrations will be attended by a cross section of the UK rail sector, representing key stakeholders and decision makers, infrastructure providers, operators, manufacturers, rolling stock companies, technical consultancy companies and suppliers, to name only a few.
