Final call for nominations for the Women in Rail Awards 2022!

Just one week remains to place nominations for The Women in Rail Awards 2022 – which will close on Friday 28 January 2022 – so please nominate your inspirational managers, friends, colleagues, peers and employers now!

The Women in Rail Awards showcase and reward the individuals and companies (large and small) who have made a significant contribution to improving gender balance, equality, diversity and inclusion in our industry in the last twelve months, shining a bright light on our railway heroes.

There are nine awards available for nomination, to include four individual and five team categories. For full criteria information, please visit the Women in Rail Awards website.

A tenth category has been reserved to recognise an unsung hero, who have continuously gone above and beyond their day job to support others within their workplace or local communities – ‘The Adeline Ginn Women in Rail Award’. The winner of this award will be selected by the internal Women in Rail Team, including the Board of Trustees and Regional Groups.

The celebrations will be attended by a cross section of the UK rail sector, representing key stakeholders and decision makers, infrastructure providers, operators, manufacturers, rolling stock companies, technical consultancy companies and suppliers, to name only a few.

Please help make the Women in Rail Awards a very special night: nominate now to celebrate all those from our Railway Family who work hard to improve gender balance, equality, diversity and inclusion in UK rail in line with the objectives of the joint WR/RIA EDI Charter.

For more information on the Women in Rail Awards 2022, including how to secure your table or sponsorship opportunities, please visit the Women in Rail website.

The Women in Rail team looks forward to seeing you at the Roundhouse on 19 May 2022!
