Former Metrolinx Chief Capital Officer joins BTTC as Global Head of Program Delivery

Leading infrastructure project consultancy BTTC has appointed a new Global Head of Program Delivery, former Metrolinx Chief Capital Officer, Matthew (Matt) Clark.

An accomplished civil engineer and infrastructure delivery executive, Matt joined BTTC as a Director on September 05, 2022. Drawing on 26 years of industry experience, he will lead the Project Management business in the UK, while providing specialist advisory services to existing and new clients across North America.

His appointment comes at a time of growth and change for pioneering consultancy BTTC, which was recently acquired by senior team members in a successful management buyout. Its new board of directors is pursuing continued growth on an international stage, and Matt will help to drive the business forward, both in the UK and overseas.

Matt said: “I am delighted to be joining BTTC at this exciting time, with new opportunities in the UK, North America and beyond. As infrastructure markets move to new and more collaborative contracting models, we are extremely well-positioned to continue our ongoing growth. I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact that BTTC is having on major projects and I am delighted to join this fantastic team.”

As an industry leader with experience spanning four decades in transit operating environments, Matt is well-qualified to facilitate this growth. Over the course of his impressive career, he has delivered complex programmes in the UK, Canada, and North America – most recently, playing a key role in the implementation of alliancing and progressive contracts in Canada.

Rob Offord, Managing Director said: “Matt’s collaborative expertise and ethos is aligned closely with BTTC’s own approach, making him an ideal fit for this new leadership role. Our growing consultancy specialises in collaborative project development and delivery, helping our clients to work more closely with supply chain partners.

“We couldn’t be more excited about Matt coming on board as a member of the leadership team and look forward to working with him as he helps us to continue our growth and success.”
