‘Goede dag’ from The Netherlands, Hird Rail Development open European office

Hird Rail Development (HRD), the leading specialist in rail infrastructure products, have announced the opening of their new offices in The Netherlands. This move will strengthen the company’s partnerships and customer support throughout Europe.

“It is an exciting time for HRD, with customers throughout Europe looking to us to help improve the quality and extend the life of their railway,” said Andre Dul, HRD’s Track Engineering Specialist heading up the Dutch office.

Andre counts organisations such as ProRail (Dutch Railways), voestalpine WBN and Railpro as past employers, he has been at the leading edge of product development for more than 30 years. Andre has designed and developed a range of track and infrastructure life improvement solutions, some of which form part of HRD’s portfolio.

HRD is an independent, privately-owned firm that prides itself on providing high quality, best in class products and solutions to the global rail sector. Some of these include; The STB Insulated Rail Joint system, which surpasses the most rigorous test criteria in the world, and Modular Deterrent Systems, to help combat trespassing on the railway.
