HICSE hitting the red carpet at two awards’ ceremonies

Teams from Hitachi Information Controls Europe Ltd (HICSE) will be hitting the red carpet in the coming weeks to celebrate not ONE but TWO awards entries being shortlisted as finalists in TWO separate awards ceremonies.

Representatives from HICSE will be in London at the Spotlight Rail Awards where the NX Panel simulator project is a finalist in the Best Use of Technology category. The NX Panel high fidelity simulation takes training to the next level, providing Signaller training in a real-time, real-world environment using touchscreen technology accessible through a browser from any location. Although up against some tough competition, to get to being shortlisted out of all the nominations is a massive achievement.

Also treading the boards is Stephen Martinez-Hill who was nominated for Mentor of the Year in the YRP Awards in Birmingham in April. The company says Stephen’s work in training and mentoring our next generation has been outstanding and his nomination (and shortlisting to finalist!) is well deserved.

“This is the first year we have actively entered Awards” said Denise Watkins, Head of Sales at Hitachi, “and to be shortlisted in two different ceremonies for two different highly deserving initiatives is fantastic! Our teams work tirelessly on developing and promoting our solutions and we know our people are our biggest asset, so for Stephen to be recognised for our mentoring and training programme is a great achievement for him personally and for us as a company.”
