Demands for the Aylesbury to Milton Keynes link of East West Rail have been presented to parliament.

Aylesbury’s MP, Rob Butler, has presented a petition in favour of the plans to the House of Commons.

The MP represented Old Bexley and Sidcup, and passed away from lung cancer at the age of 53 in October last year.

Southeastern remembered him for his hard work campaigning to get rail improvements and for new modern trains he felt would benefit his constituents.
