InnoTrans to host Hyperloop Conference

In September, InnoTrans will be hosting a new Hyperloop Conference.

It says this is the first international conference of its kind on the transportation mode, which will see autonomous pods travel down tunnels using methods such as “air skis”.

The event will provide researchers, startups, transport companies, policymakers and investors from around the world with a platform for discussion.

The key questions are:

  • What are the latest technological developments?
  • What is needed in order to set up a hyperloop infrastructure?
  • How can hyperloop technology be integrated into existing transport systems?
  • How can one increase public acceptance?

At the opening of the Hyperloop Conference, there will be speeches from Carlo M. Borghini (executive director and chief executive at Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking), Keir Fitch (head of Unit Rail Safety & Interoperability – DG Move European Commission), and Thomas Jarzombek (speaker of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group on education and research).

The Hyperloop Conference agenda will feature a wide range of formats and topics surrounding this ultra high-speed transportation of the future.

The Hyperloop Conference takes place at InnoTrans in Berlin on 23 September.
