Jo Field, Founder and Chief Executive of JFG Communications, has won the prestigious ‘Professional of the Year’ award at this year’s PRCA Dare Awards for the south east.
The PRCA Dare Awards seek out and reward the very best PR and communications professionals across the UK, decided by a panel of highly respected industry experts across eight regions.
The business Jo Founded, JFG Communications, is a public affairs consultancy specialising in stakeholder engagement, political communications, diversity and decarbonisation.
Commenting on her win, Jo said: “It’s an honour to be named as Professional of the Year for the south east region and great to be recognised among the best PR and comms professionals across the UK.
“I’d like to say a special thank you to my wonderful team at JFG Communications for their continued hard work and support as I definitely couldn’t have achieved this without them.”
To be recognised as Professional of the Year, Jo had to demonstrate her achievements in several categories including leadership, initiative, and performance and contribution to the industry in which she works.
The judges were impressed by Jo’s campaigning for a more gender-balanced workforce and championing of women’s rights, as well as her leadership of the ‘digital office’.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in London on Thursday 30th June. Read the full list of 2022 finalists for all regions.
Jo Field has also been named as one of the 100 most inspirational and influential women in Westminster. She made the inaugural list and was re-named again in 2022.
