Keltbray welcomes Simon Walkley as new Managing Director – Rail

Keltbray has announced that Simon Walkley has joined its Infrastructure Services Division as its new Managing Director – Rail. Simon comes with a wealth of specific expertise and experience having previously been the Rail Director and more latterly Group Managing Director of Buckingham Group.

Simon has already commenced in his new role, reporting directly to Phil Price. He steps into the role vacated by Neil Thompson who was asked by the Keltbray Group Board to join and strengthen the senior leadership of Keltbray’s Built Environment division.

Darren James, Chief Executive Officer at Keltbray said: “I am thrilled that Simon is joining Keltbray at this exciting time for the Group as we continue to enjoy significant growth across the infrastructure business with major bids in progress in rail for 5-year frameworks with Network Rail in their Eastern and Northwest and Central regions and the next phase of the Midland Mainline Project.

“I also want to thank Neil for his strong leadership of the rail business over the last two and a half years, and the board and I are delighted to be retaining someone of his calibre to help drive transformative change in our core building markets.”
