Last chance to register: RIA’s Award Winning Innovation Conference

There are only a few weeks left to register for one of the leading innovation events in rail.

The Railway Industry Association’s (RIA) Innovation Conference is one of RIA’s major flagship events, focused on bringing rail innovators, clients and stakeholders together to solve some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. The Conference’s theme this year is ‘Getting Ready for Great British Railways’, exploring how the industry can support innovation under the new GBR structure.

For two days in Nottingham, over 26 and 27 April, the rail industry comes together to explore how we deliver a more effective railway. The conferences have built an impressive track record over the last decade; they have become key diary dates for innovators in the UK railway industry, in both the supply chain and in client and government organisations, offering a mix of information, networking and interaction to make innovation happen.

The Conference involves:

  • Leading speakers including Keith Williams, Chair of the Williams Rail Review, Network Rail Chair Sir Peter Hendy CBE and Sarah Sharples, Chief Scientific Advisor for the Department of Transport, plus many more.
  • Two days of interactive workshops, keynotes and panel discussions, with representatives from Network Rail, HS2, Transport for London and more!
  • 35+ exhibitors, including key clients, who will be presenting innovative products and services to the industry;
  • A unique Network Rail R&D Showcase area where you can find out more about Network Rail’s innovation work;
  • An exclusive tour of The Composites Research Group’s laboratory at Nottingham University; and
  • An Oktober-fest themed networking drinks and dinner, with locally sourced beer tasting and German-style buffet dinner.

The Innovation Conference is not an event to be missed – and with tickets selling out fast, attendees are urged to book as soon as possible.
