Linbrooke Services Ltd (Linbrooke) is delivering Signalling, Civils and E&P PACE 2 to 4 for the signalling life extension works at Eastfield Signal box on behalf of Network Rail to renew the condition of the signal box wiring and assets in the area.
The REB was designed and built in house by Linbrooke and was delivered on site on Saturday, 16th September 2023 and successfully landed into position ready to be installed in the forthcoming weeks.
It was an exemplary collaboration between Linbrooke, RJC and Network Rail to work towards a common goal during a very limited window of possession and OLE isolation and in a strict and critical environment. Safety measures on site were exceptional due to multiple aspects of project complexity.
This significant milestone was celebrated by the team on site who were ecstatic to say the least when the REB reached its end point bringing the commissioning that is planned in November a step closer.
