Linxon expands its local presence in UK

In addition to opening an office in Stoke-on-Trent in late 2020, Linxon has announced it is now establishing its new Birmingham office in the Snow Hill area.

This expansion will create an operating base that spans the Midlands and supports the company’s aspirations across the transmission network, rail electrification, conventional power generation and renewables sectors which are each growing exponentially due to the global energy transition.

Linxon is part of a tripartite consortium including SSE Enterprise Contracting and Arcadis – a team of highly-regarded HV specialists working in UK rail.

The new offices enable the business to continue to attract talent across project management, engineering and business support functions whilst also offering an opportunity to actively engage with local, regional and national suppliers who can support its Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) delivery model.

As Linxon further establishes itself in the region, it has announced that the company will be looking to add social value and participate in educational and social impact activities such as STEM learning initiatives and targeted charitable involvement which utilises its core skills to generate greater value.

The new office will be open from early August.
