Morgan Sindall Infrastructure appoints new SHEQ director

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has appointed a new director for Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ).

Carole Bardell-Wise joined the company on 22 January, with her arrival following the announcement that current SHEQ director, Martin Worthington, is going to retire later this year.

Previously, Carole was executive HSE director for Crossrail Ltd. She brings a wealth of senior leadership experience and knowledge from the infrastructure, rail and aviation sectors. Morgan Sindall Infrastructure says she will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s health and wellbeing, safety, environmental and quality programmes and standards – as well as supporting its commitment to delivering innovative and responsible infrastructure across the UK.

Simon Smith, managing director for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, said: “I’m delighted that Carole has joined our business. Her appointment will continue to drive our performance, adding significant value beyond her functional leadership responsibilities and supporting our imperative to make sure that every one of our colleagues goes home safe and well every day.”
