SWGR has seen huge levels of success on major projects across the UK. It has recently opened a new delivery unit in the centre of England as it looks to bring its unique way of safety-focused working and customer service into more projects in England and Wales.

On joining SWGR as Head of Finance, Alan said: “I’m excited to begin this new role at SWGR, which is a rapidly growing company with major ambitions within the rail industry.

“I believe my vast experience in finance positions will help me achieve success in this important role in the business. SWGR is a business that has had great success over the last 30 years and, when I saw an opportunity to join a company that is going from strength to strength, it was one that I could not pass up.”

He added: “I will be looking to drive continuous improvement across all aspects of SWGR’s finance systems, by developing processes which will help improve the company’s long-term sustainability.”

Raj Sinha, Group Managing Director for SWGR, said: “Alan’s appointment is a statement of intent for SWGR. The work we are completing for our clients is being noticed across the country and we are recruiting with strong appointments such as Alan as we continue to build on the strong foundations we have set.

“We are delighted to have Alan with us and we are looking forward to drawing on his experience to further streamline our financial processes, ultimately benefitting our clients, our supply chain partners and our team.”
