Newly appointed Route Delivery Director for East Midlands

Tim Walden has been announced as Network Rail’s newly appointed Route Delivery Director for East Midlands.

Tim has worked for Network Rail for 14 years, and he brings extensive experience in key areas. As well as contributing to the strategic direction of Capital Delivery and being an effective ambassador, he has recently successfully led the implementation of both SPEED and Agile Client in Eastern and wider across the country.

A posting on the Capital Delivery Eastern Linkedin page says: “With his programme and portfolio management experience and remarkable leadership skills, we know this is the perfect challenge for him.”

He says: “This is an exciting time indeed and I’m thrilled to be joining the East Midlands team. The successful implementation of the timetable change has enabled significant improvements to the route, and I am embracing the opportunity to build on this success. “This summer, I am focused and looking forward to a combination of continuing to deliver important projects such as Brent Cross, whilst securing the pipeline of further enhancements that will be delivered across the East Midlands route.”
