Nomad Digital is set to exhibit at two major European trade events this autumn, sharing its innovative passenger and fleet management solutions with a wide rail audience.
The transport connectivity specialist is exhibiting at TRAKO, Poland’s largest rail industry meeting, from 19 – 22 September in Gdańsk. It has also announced that it will be a Silver Sponsor at this year’s World Passenger Festival, which takes place in Vienna, Austria, from 4 – 5 October.
Gerald von Pok, Nomad Digital’s Regional Sales Director, EMEA/UK&I, commented: “We’re always on the lookout for new opportunities to share our passenger and fleet management solutions, explaining how they can deliver efficiencies and innovation to the global transport industry.
“International trade shows are a great platform – which is why we’ve decided to exhibit at TRAKO and the World Passenger Festival this year.”
Three members of Nomad Digital’s expert team will attend TRAKO, which showcases state-of-the-art transport systems and railway infrastructure. There, they will be available to discuss their own range of passenger and fleet connectivity products on stand B35, in the UK Pavilion.
Less than a month later, the Nomad Digital team is appearing at Vienna’s World Passenger Festival alongside a range of other transport industry leaders. Running for two days, the conference will play host to discussions about the technologies, strategies, and opportunities that could encourage a return to shared and public transport.
Nomad Digital will be exhibiting on stand 73, as well as speaking about innovation and barriers to change in the Digital Track section on 4 October.
Gerald added: “We look forward to showcasing our own security, connectivity and passenger engagement solutions and expertise, as well as sharing how our reporting and management tools can support operators daily. But we’re also keen to learn more about other requirements in these regions, and how we can support.”
The events come at an exciting time for Nomad Digital, which last year celebrated its 20-year anniversary. Over two decades, it has continuously innovated to develop its product portfolio to match the ever-evolving industry requirements. Today, this portfolio includes a range of digital solutions – including its next generation of on-board/passenger information systems (OBIS/PIS).
Covering platform and on-train screens, and delivering journey information and announcements, Nomad Digital’s OBIS/PIS solutions also provide distributed infotainment and commercial content to passengers. Gerald explained that these advanced advertising features can open up new revenue streams for operators.
“They help operators to manage the passenger experience proactively, offering real-time monitoring of on-board equipment,” said Gerald. “It’s really exciting technology, and we’re looking forward to discussing it at the events this autumn.”
Towards the end of the year, the Nomad Digital team is looking forward to attending and sponsoring more industry events, with Rail Live in Madrid and the TrainComms WiFi on Trains Conference taking place in London.
