Quattro Group increases competitive advantage after achieving gold sustainability standard

Multi-disciplined plant hire business Quattro Group has become just one of 58 businesses to have achieved a Gold standard with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which has a total for 3,000+ member companies.

As part of the standard, Quattro demonstrated an increase in sustainability competence through a significant team effort and commitment from the senior management team. By identifying sustainability influences on the company, the team devised and implemented a number of innovative solutions in order to gain the accreditation.

These solutions were shared as best practice with other member companies, which in turn helps to generate new business and position the company to meet client requirements in the most sustainable way possible.

Robert Smith, National HSE Manager at Quattro Group, said: “The awarding of a Gold standard is a significant step to demonstrate Quattro Group’s commitment to sustainable practices. The excellent resources at the school helps us to further enhance our mindsets to think as sustainably as possible and set out action plans to continuously improve what we do.

“To be one of only 58 in the UK to have achieve this standard is an important milestone for the business. We encourage other businesses to strive towards this standard and use the training opportunities available to make a difference in their practices.”

Quattro Group provides professionally-operated equipment to the rail, road and construction industries, employing 500 people. Working nationwide, the company focuses on providing tailored services to ensure the right equipment is used for the right job.
