Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN), one of the rail industry’s most popular free-to-attend networking events, returns on 28th February. Hundreds of visitors and up to 100 exhibitors are expected to descend on the Business Design Centre in Islington, where they will enjoy meeting fellow professionals from across the industry and sharing ideas over complimentary refreshments.
RIN began in September 2016, with the first event taking place in Birmingham. Since then, it has grown with each event to become one of the rail calendar’s must-attend events.
So far, RIN event have taken place in:
- Birmingham
- Doncaster
- Crewe
- York
- Derby
- London
- Wigan
There are still exhibitor places left, so those interested in attending are urged to book without delay to avoid disappointment. The success of RIN is down to its unpretentious format, which sees people from all kinds of rail infrastructure organisations meeting once a quarter in a different city of significance to the rail industry.
As RIN organiser Keven Parker explained: “RIN stands out from many industry events, being free to attend and free from sales pitches. It’s a chance for like-minded rail professionals to get together in a great setting and do some really useful networking with no distractions and discover innovative products and services offered by the rail supply chain.”
“Events are usually oversubscribed, but I’m happy to say there are one or two places still available. It’s a half-day event that can be very lucrative as we attract a lot of Principle Contractors interested in finding out about the supply chain, which often results in new business opportunities.”
