Rail usage recovery figures released leading up to day before the strikes

The Department for Transport (DfT) has released its latest figures on how many people were using rail, when compared to services before COVID-19 hit the UK.

As with every week, these figures are released to the public but they are not final; they are close estimates subject to change upon counting final ticket sales.

Mon 13 June: 87%

Tue 14 June: 86%

Wed 15 June: 84%

Thu 16 June: 82%

Fri 17 June: 80%

Sat 18 June: 80%

Sun June: 81%

Mon 20 June: 81%

Next Wednesday will take into account figures for the strikes, and will deliver an informed estimate as to the impact of industrial action.
