The Department for Transport (DfT) has released its latest figures on how many people were using rail, when compared to services before COVID-19 hit the UK.

As with every week, these figures are released to the public but they are not final; they are close estimates subject to change upon counting final ticket sales.

Mon 13 June: 87%

Tue 14 June: 86%

Wed 15 June: 84%

Thu 16 June: 82%

Fri 17 June: 80%

Sat 18 June: 80%

Sun June: 81%

Mon 20 June: 81%

Next Wednesday will take into account figures for the strikes, and will deliver an informed estimate as to the impact of industrial action.
