Railway Cinema Night 2nd March, to raise money for the Railway Benefit Fund

As part of Wales Week in London and to raise money for the Railway Benefit Fund’s Railway Family Week, a virtual Railway Cinema Night is being held.

The host for the evening will be Michael Portillo, journalist, broadcaster of the Railway Journeys series and former politician.

The evening will showcase the historic 1959 British Transport Films short documentary ‘Under the River’, which examined the Severn Tunnel’s complex construction.  

Prior to the film, there will be a lively discussion on the current and historic rail links on Great Western. A Q&A session with Michael will follow the film.
