The Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) are today kicking off their third annual ‘Railway Family Week’, which will run until 30 April.
Founded in 2021, Railway Family Week has a simple aim; to bring together the entire industry to raise £50,000 for RBF. Last year alone, over 1,000 people benefitted from the charity’s financial services; this was all made possible thanks to the money raised from Railway Family Week. Demand for RBF’s services has tripled over the past 5 years, with someone in rail reaching out for support every 4 minutes. This year, funds raised will allow RBF to continue to support the most vulnerable families who are struggling to cope with the cost of living.
Auction of Rail Experiences
The charity’s hugely popular Auction of Experiences features plenty of money-can’t-buy experiences. There are over 40 incredible prizes up for grabs, including:

Big Railway Family Week Challenge
Teams from across the industry are coming together to cover the distance of the UK through walking, cycling, swimming and more. Teams from Porterbrook, RSSB, Freightliner and Clemtech will be racing to see who can complete the most distance over three weeks, with a trophy awarded to the winning team.
