RMT suspends Jubilee tube action

Listen to this article:

The RMT has said its members will not take industrial action over a dispute at Euston and Green Park stations on June 3.

Progress in talks with London Underground mean that the action, which would have been on the Jubilee weekend, will not go ahead.

However, should no resolution be reached, staff will arrange a strike at the two key stations on another day.

The dispute is regarding management practices which have been described by RMT as “unacceptable”.
