Rowe Hankins awarded major contract to supply On Train Data Recorder and Speed Sensor Contract

Turkish Government train Manufacturer Turasas has announced that Northwest based electronics manufacturer Rowe Hankins has been successful in winning the supply of aOTDR and Speed Sensor contract for a new build project in Turkey.

This new build OEM project to design and manufacture 9 X 4 Car Units for the Gaziray Commuter Project is due to start production in the 3rd Quarter of 2023.

Mark Nolan, sales director at Rowe Hankins, said: “We really appreciate this opportunity to work with Turasas. In collaboration with our partner Planck Signalling, we have worked through a thorough diligent and technical tender process. As requested by the customer, we have created 3D drawings and animation to demonstrate the installation process and we will oversee the ‘First in Class’ delivery and training.
