SLC is revealed as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™

SLC, the third-party rail scheme specialist, is thrilled to announce its recognition as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2021.

The company achieved 12th place in the medium business category highlighting the company’s exceptional workplace culture.

The Best Workplaces™ awards represent the largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices, and the methodology behind the rankings is one of the most rigorous and highly regarded in the UK. The opinion of employees is key as staff feedback underpins the results of the Trust Index©; and a separate Culture Audit© survey analyses and evaluates the company’s HR, leadership practices, policies, and culture.

The list is determined thorough evaluation process based on employee experience, and feedback on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

Ian Walters, Managing Director of SLC Rail said:

“This is an incredible accolade to receive and one which I’m extremely proud of, especially after such a challenging year, where we’ve all had to manage the impact of COVID in our lives and adapt to changes in the way we work.

“Achieving this place is a credit to the entire business as everyone in the company is responsible for bringing to life our unique culture and making SLC a great place to work – and company to work with.”

SLC was also recently awarded ‘Excellence in Wellbeing’ from Great Place to Work UK ®
