Rail infrastructure specialist Spencer Group has announced that it will be exhibiting at Railtex 2023, one of the UK’s leading rail industry events, during 9-11 May 2023 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
The multi-disciplinary engineering firm will be in attendance at Stand B45, showcasing its range of turnkey depot solutions, including its bespoke Control Emission Toilet (CET) facilities which have been both designed and developed in-house.
Spencer Group’s bespoke fully automated CET (Controlled Emission Toilet) system allows for the safe and hygienic disposal of toilet waste from a train’s onboard toilet retention tanks to the sewer. The development includes fully automated tanking and flushing water systems and has been recently installed at modernisation schemes at Manchester International, East Ham and Shoeburyness Depot.
Spencer Group’s CET facilities are installed in line with the latest Network Rail standards to provide safe, modern train servicing facilities. The firm’s CET systems focus on the ability to service old and new rolling stock for years to come with easily maintainable installation and increased reliability. Spencer Group also provides training on operation and maintenance of its CET systems following handover to the client to ensure a smooth transition of processes.
Railtex 2023 offers a showcase of state-of-the-art equipment and innovative systems and solutions. The exhibition includes live demonstrations as well as an extensive seminar programme, alongside a well-established On-Track area with a range of product displays.
For more than 25 years, the exhibition has been a showcase event for the UK rail industry, bringing together all stakeholders of the rail sector and its major players, including rail operators, infrastructure authorities, vehicle builders, suppliers, rail transport policymakers and planners.
