SWiFT invites members for an evening with HS2 CCO

Following the successful ‘Evening with Alastair Campbell’ event, SWiFT is delighted to invite its members to attend An Evening with Ruth Todd, Chief Commercial Officer for HS2 and former Programme Director for the Vaccine Task Force.

Ruth is the Chief Commercial Officer, with responsibility for HS2’s procurement, commercial and contract management including land and property. Ruth has a wealth of leadership experience in both public and private sector organisations, across automotive, retail, defence and consulting. 

The event will take place at AECOM, Aldgate Tower, 2 Leeman St, London E1 8FA on 18 January 2023 with doors open for networking and registration from 18.00 the event will conclude at 21.30. Registration for the second Women in Rail SWiFT event closes on Friday 13 January.

SWiFT is an integral part of Women in Rail and was created by, and comprises as its core membership base, Senior Women in (or Formerly in) UK rail or Transport and their male allies. SWiFT’s objective is to shift the dial in respect to the number of women in executive roles in the UK rail sector and, in line with the Women in Rail core values, to further promote equality, diversity and inclusion across our industry, with a focus on executive grades and roles.

SWiFT is open to professionals in senior management roles in the UK railway or transport industry who already have a significant level of responsibility and accountability to their Board and are looking to increase their network at an executive level and prepare themselves for Board level positions.
