The latest edition of Rail Director goes live online with exclusive interviews with rail industry leaders

“Providing good service for our customers is more important now than ever, as we strive to attract them back to the railway.” That is the message from Abu Siddeeq, Trenitalia’s c2c’s Customer Experience Director.

Abu is the cover feature of the latest Rail Director magazine, which can be viewed online for free by clicking here.

He said: “In my experience the best leaders that you come across are actually your best customer service people.”

As well as the interview with Abu, in the latest edition you can also read features with Jonty Bletcher, Senior Sustainability Manager for HS2 Ltd’s Old Oak Common station; Tim Sayer, Engineering Director at Chiltern Railways; SLC Director Sam Uren; and Community Rail Network’s Chief Executive Jools Townsend.

Editor Danny Longhorn said: “Thanks so much to everyone who has played their part in bringing the latest edition to fruition. We’ve recently marked our third anniversary since the magazine came to fruition, and I can safely say Rail Director continues to go from strength to strength.

“Following the Railway Industry Association acquisition of RBD assets, including Rail Director, I am very excited what the future holds and the opportunities ahead. We are already working hard on the next edition, which will be themed around freight, with some high-profile interviews already lined up.

“As always advertising space is filling up quickly, so I’d recommend contacting my colleague Chris Wiles quickly if you’d like to feature and get your product or services in front of rail industry leaders.”

Chris Wiles, who leads the RBDPublications team, said: “I’m delighted the online version of the latest magazine can now be viewed, with a great mix of individuals and organisations playing a vital role in the making the rail industry the success it is.

“With the print deadline for the October edition, which focusses on freight, fast approaching we still have a few slots available for rail businesses to showcase their products and services, but I wouldn’t wait around too long, or you might miss out. In the November edition the focus will be plant and equipment, so we are eager to talk to organisations providing services in this area.”
