The Railway Ball is back – and there are early bird offers available

The end of November sees the welcome return of the industry’s number one fundraiser, The Railway Ball. And there are special offers for those signing up early.

The Railway Ball is an annual fundraiser championed by rail companies large and small, to enable the charity Railway Children to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people here in the UK, as well as in India and Africa. Over £7.5 million has been raised since the first Ball in 2000, and the £8 million target is within reach.

Returning to the InterContinental London – The O2, on Friday 24 November 2023, the Ball organisers are thrilled to see a real appetite for tickets, with over 500 already sold. Long-term supporters such as Atkins, Angel Trains, Govia Thameslink Railway, Hitachi Rail, HS1 and Porterbrook have booked to join the party. Some new faces are also putting in an appearance, including British Pullman and Royal Scotsman, to name but a few.

Early bird deals

Early bird deals are available for those who book before 31 January 2023, so businesses who have yet to book and want to take advantage of the discounted rates are urged to book now.

Speculation has begun as to what the 2023 theme will be. “Guests associate The Railway Ball with first class entertainment plus a few surprises,” said Ball Chair and HS1 CEO, Dyan Crowther. “After the success of 2022’s ‘Greatest Hits Live!’ show, we are working hard to ensure that there is a genuine feelgood factor to this year’s fundraiser, that will get everyone on the dance floor. So, watch this space.”
