The Railway Ball is back – and there are early bird offers available

The end of November sees the welcome return of the, The Railway Ball. And there are special offers for those signing up early.

The Railway Ball is an annual fundraiser championed by rail companies large and small, to enable the charity Railway Children to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people here in the UK, as well as in India and Africa. Over £8 million has been raised since the first Ball in 2000, and the £9 million target is within reach.

Returning to the InterContinental London – The O2, on Friday 29 November 2024, the Ball organisers say they are thrilled to see a real appetite for tickets, with over 400 tickets already sold.

Long-term supporters such as supporters Angel Trains, Ashurst LLP, Morgan Sindall, MTR Elizabeth line, OCS Group, Porterbrook, Railway Industry Association, South Western Railway, Stephenson Harwood, Thales UK, UK Power Networks Services, VINCI Construction Grand Projets and VolkerRail have booked to join the party.

Some new faces are also putting in an appearance, including PwC and Teneo, to name but a few.

Early bird deals

Early bird deals are available for those who book before 31 January 2024, so businesses who have yet to book and want to take advantage of the discounted rates are urged to book now.

Speculation has begun as to what the 2024 theme will be.

“Guests associate The Railway Ball with first class entertainment plus a few surprises,” said Ball Chair and GWR Managing Director, Mark Hopwood CBE. “After the success of 2023’s ‘Friday Night Fever!’ show, we are working hard to ensure that there is a genuine feelgood factor to this year’s fundraiser, that will get everyone on the dance floor. So, watch this space.”
