Train operating company runs competition to battle winter blues

Northern is running a new competition to help people battle the winter blues.

The competition will allow people to win tickets to a destination of their choice in the North.

The promotion is set to run from 17 January to 23 January. One winner will be picked at random.

Mark Powles, commercial and customer director, at Northern said: “Simply play our game, choose something blue and we’ll tell you which destination you should visit in 2022 with Northern.

“We are proud that Northern services run to some incredible destinations across the north – from Blackpool to Whitby – and we want to inspire our customers to use our trains to go do your thing.”
