Transport connectivity specialist Nomad Digital secures top spot in TransportTech 50

Nomad Digital has topped BusinessCloud’s 2022 ‘TransportTech 50’, placing at number one in the annual ranking of innovative transport technology creators.

Connected transport specialist Nomad Digital offers a broad solutions portfolio that facilitates a significantly enhanced passenger experience, with seamless connectivity, real-time journey information and on-board entertainment, whilst intelligent fleet management and monitoring solutions support operators with improved fleet availability and operational efficiencies.

Following a shortlisting process, it secured the top spot in the TransportTech 50, an annual ranking of UK companies that create original technology for mobility, transportation, wayfinding and logistics.

The final ranking was decided by reader votes and an independent judging panel, whose members included KPMG transport lead David Williams, and BusinessCloud editor Jonathan Symcox.

Xavier Champaud, Nomad Digital’s Managing Director, commented: “It is a great pleasure to be among the incredible UK tech companies who feature in the TransportTech 50 final ranking. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who voted and say a heartfelt thank you to our team members – people without whom we would not be where we are today.”

The ranking supports Nomad Digital’s innovative approach to digitalisation, which it believes must become a priority for rail. The business celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and is continuously working to increase the value of rail for both operators and passengers, at a moment of increasing pressure to decarbonize our everyday life footprint, our industry and our transport.

“With innovation at the forefront, the Nomad Digital Team look forward to supporting the Transportation industry through this digital transformation,” added Xavier. To learn more about Nomad’s intelligent transport solutions, visit https://nomad-digital.com/.
