Two senior appointments to boost RBD Community growth

The RBD Community (RBDC) is strengthening its team with two key hires as it eyes future growth.

RBDC is the go-to rail business platform for making high quality connections, raising business profiles, accessing the latest market intelligence and discovering new opportunities to win business.

Its membership spans the entire UK rail supply chain – including businesses new to the sector and those established in rail.

Content editor Fiona Broomfield joins the team with the simple remit: to make the community’s portal One Place the place RBDC members go to for all the information, analysis and help that they need to grow in the rail industry.

Fiona will be developing the successful portal that already contains invaluable information about tender and funding opportunities, industry insight and analysis and the Ultimate Rail Calendar. She will also be responsible for making it as simple as possible for members to find the information they need when they need it and will help to answer any rail related questions RBDC members have.

Fiona, an award-winning business communicator, who has been helping businesses to grow for over 20 years, says: “There are so many growth opportunities available to companies working in rail. I’m excited to help our RBDC members maximise their potential through the value that One Place will bring.”

Onboarding manager Jo Millington also joins the team to welcome new and renewing community members, ensuring they clearly understand and take advantage of their membership benefits. Jo will work closely with the client relationship team to ensure member benefits are activated at the optimal times for brand and product awareness.

Jo says: “I’m delighted to join the team where I’ll be welcoming our new members, ensuring they enjoy a seamless onboarding process, can access all of the features and benefits on One Place and get the most out of it.”
