Warren joins the UK-based rail services branch of ZF Services having spent six years with the company in Johannesburg, South Africa. Here he assisted in supporting industrial and commercial customers, before successfully heading up the heavy mining focused II Industrial Drive division, where he grew the domestic business by 130 percent.

In his new role, Warren will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive product, application, and market knowledge to ensure suitable ZF products and services are proposed to meet ongoing customer requirements.

By maintaining a direct input into the Technical Services department, Warren will ensure market requirements are reflected in technical and warranty decision making. He will also look to continually develop technical competencies to meet the future requirements of ZF Services and all applicable industry standards.

He said: “The opportunity to grow within ZF and the excitement of relocating to the UK with my family, was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a great pleasure to work with so many colleagues from different divisions within the business, based in locations from all over the world.

“The culture and tenacity of the leadership at ZF is second to none; employees are always fully supported and encouraged to go the extra mile, allowing us to grow the business even in the most difficult of times.”

Simon Hargreaves, rail business manager at ZF Services UK, said: “Warren has already proven himself as a valuable asset within the wider business and I’m confident that using his knowledge of the sector and wealth of experience, he will quickly become an integral part of the UK team.”
