SSE Enterprise Rail’s commitment to safety praised by British Land

Feedback from major stakeholders has highlighted SSE Enterprise Rail’s commitment to working collaboratively and safely and an unwavering positive culture around Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) management.

During the 2017 festive period, SSE Enterprise Rail engineers carried out isolation works at Liverpool Street Station as part of Switch Panel and Distribution replacement projects that have a value of £6million.

Engineers had to safely isolate all electrical services to two platforms at the station, while the SSE Enterprise Rail team was also on-call 24-hours a day for eight days between Christmas and New Year.

British Land subsequently thanked SSE Enterprise Rail for the way it delivered these works and the collective success of everyone involved.

Charles Horne, British Land’s project director, said: “SSE Enterprise Rail successfully delivered a significant project collaboratively with all the other members of the team and, in doing so, ensured our collective success. We
are sincerely grateful for SSE Enterprise Rail’s honest support and endeavour.”
