CPMS is delighted to welcome Adeline Ginn as its Group Strategy and Legal Director

Adeline Ginn has been revealed as CPMS’s Group Strategy and Legal Director.

Adeline has extensive knowledge and experience of the rail industry, having worked as a lawyer in the sector for over 20 years, both the UK and Europe.

Before joining CPMS, Adeline was General Counsel at Angel Trains, one of Britain’s rolling stock companies, which she joined shortly after privatization. There, she progressed from the position of lead lawyer helping structure its European business to that of General Counsel, a role which she held for 10 years.

Adeline is a strategic leader with a proven ability to deliver value for money and operational excellence. Adeline is also the Chair of Women in Rail, a charity she founded in 2012, and aimed at improving gender balance, diversity and inclusion in the UK railway sector, an agenda she is passionate about.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining the CPMS team. It is not often one gets another chance to join a growing business with great potential, driven by highly skilled and dedicated professionals. CPMS and I share the same values and vision and I am really excited about the future.”

CPMS was established in 2012 by four like-minded individuals with over 80 years of combined project delivery experience. The business provides highly skilled professional project management and project support services to the rail industry across the UK.

Mat Baine, Managing Director said: “I am thrilled that Adeline is joining us at a time when CPMS is undergoing such ambitious growth plans. Adeline’s strong values are fully aligned with that of our business, and with her extensive rail experience and industry knowledge she is an excellent addition to the team.

“CPMS also truly understands the value of having a diverse and inclusive workforce and is committed to continue to support the Women in Rail agenda and the work undertaken by Adeline and her team.”

CPMS started as specialists in the management of Overhead Line projects and quickly became a lead supplier in this field. The company then diversified into a multi discipline organisation and is now offering professional services in seven areas: Enterprise Asset Management, Commercial, Safety, Assurance and Environment, Programme and Project Management, Engineering and Construction, Design, through to Project Controls and Governance.

CPMS’ approach is to support and work in close partnership with each of its client companies, providing rail expertise and helping deliver efficient and cost-effective projects. The business prides itself on working collaboratively with its customers and ensuring they are supported throughout each phase of the project cycle so that their professional outcome is achieved.

CPMS is also proud to boost a diverse and inclusive workforce and has first-hand knowledge of the positive impact diversity of thoughts can have on business operations. CPMS understand the current skills challenges faced by UK rail and is committed to help close the skills gap through internal programmes, partnerships and collaborations with organisations such as Women in Rail.
