Network Rail to officially open Infra Talk

Rail Forum Midlands has announced that the Infra Talk networking event will be officially opened by Tim Shoveller, MD for Northwest and Central Region of Network Rail.

The brand-new infrastructure networking event takes place virtually on 21 January 2021, 9.00 – 12.00.

Orientated around a series of tables hosted by tier 1 suppliers, delegates will be able to move around the event freely, and speak directly with procurement, commercial and project representatives from the following 16 major companies as well as end clients including Network Rail and HS2.

Tim said: “Infra Talk presents a great opportunity for industry friends and colleagues across the whole supply chain to finally meet face to face after the difficulties of 2020.  We are excited to be a part of it, and look forward to participating and setting out our objectives for 2021 in the launch address.”

Infra Talk gets bigger!

New member Dyer & Butler, and Rhomberg Sersa have also joined as Tier 1 participants.

Chris Darlow, Rail Director of Dyer & Butler, reports “As a new member to Rail Forum Midlands, Dyer & Butler are very much looking forward to taking part in the Infra Talk event on January 21st  and the exciting opportunity this presents: hearing from the keynote speaker; networking with our Rail Clients and fellow rail professionals across the business; and being able to make meaningful connections with the supply chain. We will have key personnel from our Rail Leadership Team and Supply Chain Management in attendance.”

The event will be delivered across an interactive virtual platform where delegates will have the opportunity to freely move around all the Tier 1s, speaking with a range of representatives as well end clients including Network Rail and HS2.

The event remains open to the whole UK rail industry and registration is via the the Rail Forum Midlands website.  Rail Forum Midlands members can register for free and have up to three places at the event.  For non-members, there is a maximum of one place per company and a small charge.
